Date Night “Do’s” – Skin Care For A Special Occasion Spent At Home

Date night may look a little different these days, but we’re here to help. Whether you’re going out or staying in, you can certainly spend some spa-like quality time with your sweetheart (or alone!). Here are some tips for making the most of it with some stellar skin.

Just say “Ahhhh”

What’s more relaxing than a massage? Drain fluid from your face and provide an immediate lifting effect by massaging your face. After you've applied your skincare use rigorous upwards strokes, and really push up and under your cheekbones and jaw. Check out our demonstration video featuring SeeMe co-founder Christi for an educational how-to!

Frankie Says Relax

Don’t stress about staying home. Relax with a soothing bath full of your favorite bubbles or bath oils. Adding Epsom salts can help deflate puffiness and soothe any aching joints at the same time.

Don’t Wait!

On the off-chance you haven’t been wearing makeup that much during quarantine, here’s a helpful tip – don’t apply right before your date. Makeup actually looks best if it’s had a chance to settle a bit, so waiting until the last minute won’t provide much benefit.

Burning Up for Your Love

Set the mood with a scented candle. A pleasant smell can instantly alleviate stress and make your living room seem like the Four Seasons. Plus, everything looks better by candlelight anyway, right?

Love Won’t Tear You Apart

Pampering doesn’t have to stop when date night gets going. Who says you have to apply your own mask? Giggle your way into relaxation as you practice your mantra “the couple that masks together, stays together?” And pedicures are lovely for everyone’s tootsies – not just yours.

Whether at home or on the town, there are many ways to have a great date. For those staying in, uncork a fancy bottle of wine and order in your favorite fancy meal, because Valentine’s Day at home may spark some new traditions for years to come.
